For solo violin and bells

I wrote this short, rhapsodic work for a violin and tubular bells in a single day in May of 2024. I was on a kick of considering music for string instruments with offstage or removed percussion (see Ghost Steps), and managed to write this without too much trouble.

The piece has nothing to do with the bird, or the poem by Edgar Allen Poe.
